No flash and no tripod but there was a handy table to steady the hands! The camera was a simple Olympus mini mu digital camera. Although a very old camera and a simple one, in the right light with time and patience its capable of some of the best pictures. Its not just the camera that takes the photos it's the people and the subject that makes it :) this was my 21st birthday present and it has taken some competition winning photos!Inspiration
I was inspired by the great macro ability for such a little camera and my determination to get a picture of my cat who is now over 20!Editing
Back when it was taken I didn't have any fancy post porocssing tools, the picture didn't need it. Over the years it's been in and out of light room mostly to change format and shape but little else.In my camera bag
Now I have a shiny new Sony alpha 6000 mirorless camera and its fantastic. Have a Sony macro and Tele lense to go with it. Im sure I'll always be tempted to buy goodies for my camera but this photo shows it doesn't have to be $$$$ equipment.Feedback
Take ure time with animals be prepare to do things on their terms. Also take a picture that represents their character. If they are playful go for a mid action shot, in this case Mysty likes to pose in the sun. So a warm picture of her relaxing suited her.
