While on a tour in Nassau, I asked this woman if I could take her photo. She was kind enough to allow me to capture her beautiful smile. She was working in a booth selling straw items. The skill of weaving straw purses and hats has been passed down from family member to family member over many generations. The straw is grown on many different islands. Today, women sell their work in a variety of little street markets all over the island to the tourists, many who have come ashore from the cruise ships.
