Location
This photo was taken at the Pench National Park or Tiger Reserve which is one of the premier tiger reserves of India and the only one to straddle across two states - Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It encompasses a core area of 411.33 km2, with a buffer of 768.3 km2., making for a total protected area of 1179.63 km2.Time
It was around 11 am in the morning when the cub came out to drink water from the river. After drinking water it sat there scouting out the area.Lighting
The lighting here is a bit poor due to cloudy weather.Equipment
Camera I used was Nikon D3300 with a tamron 150-600 lens, hand held.Inspiration
Seeing a tiger in the wild is always a privilege, when I saw the cub I started shooting frantically but soon composed myself. It was during that time I noticed the peculiar behavior of the cub where he would gaze towards the sky then back to his surrounding, I was fascinated and wanted to get the shot of him looking to that infinite sky.Editing
Used lightroom for increasing the contrast and brightness as the lighting was poor.In my camera bag
I got the kit lenses, a prime 50 mm and a the tamron telephoto. Pretty simple stuff.Feedback
