Behind The Lens

Location

In the Roman Forum, in Rome.

Time

This was taken at towards the end of a long day of sightseeing while on holiday. We explored the Colosseum and the majority of the Forum before finding this vantage point which showed the contrast between the ancient and modern parts of the city.

Lighting

This was taken as the daylight began to fade.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D300, with a 18-300mm zoom lens.

Inspiration

I wanted to capture as much of the Forum as I could in one shot.
