One of my very first attempt into ambient light shoot, perfect lighting and prefect model to work with.

While the rain settled down, just took the shot.

First attempt to shoot with lights and strobes and it happened in a studio.

A walk in a park, there it was amongst all the life around. A life in itself.

High fashion studio shoot, just before I wrapped up... I said one last shot.

Behind The Lens

Location

In a park somewhere in Manila, PH. Just a normal day and out to click some moments.

Time

Remember this day, planning a week ahead on what I wanted to capture, create on one of my very first dedicated portrait photoshoot.

Lighting

Was anxious on how to communicate and make the models comfortable given I don't speak the local language. Had planned to use sign language and instructions details visually to be able to get what I wanted.

Equipment

Canon 7D don't really remember the lens assume its 28-75 f2.8 Tamaron.

Inspiration

As the day took it's natural course I just enjoyed the time behind camera and there she was have conversation with me and making the situation more pleasant and this helped me to help me to make her more comfortable and guide her to this shot.

Editing

As my 1st attempt in portrait it was also the very first attempt on PS. Some basic editing to enhance the skin and manage the contrast and curves to build on the natural lightn captured.

In my camera bag

All the equipments I have are hand picked and in course of time saving up for them. So the equipment would depend on where I go. However my all time favorite with Canon 7D would be 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.8, 70-200 v2.

Feedback

I got my gear in 2012 and it took me sometime to start being more regular. Many reasons can be put forth however I knew if I have to capture great moments I need to go out there more regular. and that's the tip. Go out there and keep shooting.
