This photo was taken at Wolfe Cottage Studios not far from where I live. It was taken on one of the club nights they did. There was about ten photographers there.Time
The club nights were 19.00 to 22.00 hrs. They had set up a pole for the model to work on.Lighting
Not sure which light he uses but there was a metre long soft box attached.Equipment
Nikon D90, Sigma 17/70mm F2.8/4 ISO 200 at 24mm. Also a trigger for his lighting.Inspiration
I took many photos that night, but this one liked the most, I had to move a few things to get into the place to take the shot.Editing
I did a bit of work in Photoshop, converting it to mono and bringing up the shadows a little.In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D90 and a Nikon D7200, Sigma 17 to 70mm F2.8/4 Sigma 10 to 20mm Nikon 50mm F1.8 Nikon 55 to 200mm F4/5.6 Manfrotto tripod with ball head and a cable release.Feedback
If you get the chance to shoot in a studio give it a go, your host will be helpful with the lighting, also a model that can use the pole.
