Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken at a studio in Ely (no longer there, sadly).

Time

The studio did a club night monthly, so it was taken in the evening at 21.17 on the 30th April 2014.

Lighting

As it was a club night the lighting was set for Film Noir for this part of the shoot.

Equipment

This was with my Nikon D5000, with the kit lens ISO 200 f6.3 1/100 55mm

Inspiration

As it was a club night, we shot as it was set up for.

Editing

I did a bit of re-touching in Photoshop and converted it to black and white, I also cropped it a little.

In my camera bag

Back when I took this I had (still have) a Nikon D5000 with the kit lens. I also had (again still have) a Nikon D90 with a Sigma 17-70mm 2.8-4 (I like the weight of this lens) I now use this lens on a Nikon D7200. Other lenses I have, 50mm 1.8, 55-200 4-5.6, 18-140 3.5-5.6 (all Nikon) and a 105mm 2.8 Sigma.
