On a trip to Gunwharf Quays we wanted to get a better vantage point of the Spinnaker Tower. We followed the bay around in a curve of backstreets and happened upon this opening. I've always wanted to do this lovely piece of architecture, and by night seems to be just the ticket to help it stand out. Reminds me of Burj al Arab funnily enough....though it was very breezy and cold!!
