It is said that seeing a Cardinal is a message from a passed loved one. When I was shooting this church several weeks ago, I didn't notice the little red bird watching me from, what I initially assumed was his perch on a tree branch. It wasn't until I was reviewing and editing my photos that I saw I had a sweet little visitor. On even closer inspection, he actually doesn't seem to be perched on anything. There is no branch below him. I'm not sure what to think of that, but it still makes me smile to think that perhaps one of my loved ones was watching with approval of this path I'm walking; camera in hand.
