Location
I took this photo in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve in Bela-Bela, Limpopo, South-AfricaTime
This was in the afternoon when animals were moving around again. My husband and I LOVE an afternoon game drive by ourselves and sitting at the waterholes to see as many of the animals as we possibly can.Lighting
I am not conventional about lighting. If it looks pretty from your angle - take the photo!Equipment
I use my D3200 Nikon with my 300mm Sigma lenseInspiration
I loved the bit of "wondering" the scene added - which head is which body's - I love Zebras as not two look the same, just like finger printsEditing
No, I didn't - What you see is what I sawIn my camera bag
My bag is heavy! - I don't want to miss out on any opportunity to take a photo - all my lenses, a charged battery, cleaning materials, a small flashlight, extra batteries for my flash, quick guides and my note bookFeedback
Be patient - wait for the right opportunity and take as many photos as you can - the "right" one will be there somewhere - rather remove some photos than missing out on THAT one.....
