This photo was taken in Castlewellan country park. I seen that the sun was going down over the lake, where two fishermen were fly fishing. The light was just right to capture the line being cast with a beautiful orange hue from the sunset behind.Time
It was around Half 8 at night. Sunsets are my favourite type of photography.Lighting
I waited for an hour or so until the light was just fading and turning orange to get the best shotEquipment
This was shot on a Canon G12, with no other equipmentInspiration
When I came round the lake and seen the two men in the sunset, I knew it would be a great opportunity.Editing
No I was just getting into photography at this stage and I didn't realize alot of post production is needed for great photos. In my camera bag

Be prepared to be sitting/lying down for a long time, trying to get the best shot. It's a waiting game, waiting for the sun to set just enough that it gives off an orange hue and not blue. Invest in a tripod Take photos everyday Find out what type of photography you love, and go with that.
