During a road trip to Oregon with my son, Mike, we stopped for a day to explore the giant redwoods. I happened upon Mike as he was sitting and looking up at the giants. I took this photo before he knew I was there and when I asked him what he was thinking about, he said, he was just taking in the silence and without missing a beat he said this place invokes a kind of reverence. Like you have in church.
