I recently saw music, dance and martial arts performed by Grupo Axe Capoeira Arizona. I was so impressed by their skill and ability to share a positive message of respect, diversity and community. I wanted to convey the physical strength and cultural richness of their performances in my photos. I chose to edit in rich textures and steel engraving to emphasize the group's attributes.
