I feel as though my motivation for photography has dipped lately, so I can only apologise to anyone who has shown me support in the past few months. It got to a point where the weather had held me back for so long that when it was clear, I really didn't have any ideas to pursue or motivate me to even try. But last night I decided to make a push for it. I realised nothing good's gonna come from doing nothing, so I kept myself awake for about 24 hours just to make it through the night, waiting for the moon to finally set so I could work with the darkest conditions possible. Thanks again everyone for your support, it really does mean a lot to me.
This image is a single shot, taken as the moon was slowly setting behind me. The orange glow on the horizon is light pollution from Liverpool, and the purple tint on the left I'm assuming is some light pollution leaking from Douglas. The sky itself is slightly tinted blue due to the moon still shining bright, and the morning glow beginning to rise. Hope you like it.
