Woods around Malvern Hill Battlefield Park in Virginia.Time
Late afternoon. Was trying to photograph ferns unfurling in the spring. Was following a tiny stream and almost stepped on him. Spent about 20 minutes with him. He was very patient with me.Lighting

I either use my polarizer filter, or nothing. I don't even own a flash for my real camera, my Sony mark7IIs. I'm poor, so work with what I have. Learn your equipments limits, and work within them in creative ways.Feedback
