driveway trees in spring lMG_0014

i passed this driveway on my way to the doctor's office, and went back the next day to see if i could pull a photograph out of it. Originally i was intending for the image to be color, as the trees were just starting to bloom, with a few pedals on the driveway itself due to the wind. when i got it into photoshop the color image seemed disappointing, and i decided to convert it over to black and white, push the green values towards a fairly high-key white, imitating infrared values for foliage. For better or worse, here is the end result.
