I have never seen a purple cactus. I was in Cave Creek Arizona walking and saw some normal prickly pear cactus but next to it something very purple! I did nothing to this photo but crop. The blooming flowers are the size of a silver dollar covered with microscopic sharp needles....I found out don't touch.
