Behind The Lens

Location

Pisa, Italy

Time

Early Afternoon

Lighting

Natural light is easier to work with (for myself) - I look at how natural light is sitting on what I want to photograph, does it make it pop? illuminate interesting parts? Does it create great shadows? etc..

Equipment

Just my Nikon camera

Inspiration

It's just a fantastic building, great architecture.

Editing

Yes - Used Threshold, Dodged he Background added a brick wall theme, Smudged the brick wall to create the spray paint effect and then smudged lines leading out of the building I was going for a graffiti style so it looked more like art.

In my camera bag

Camera, 2-3 different focal length lenses & my Orange filter.

Feedback

Try an see the object/person in a frame and move it about until it fits or looks interesting. Try and picture it o n somebodies wall. I think about ow it would look in a frame/mount before I take the photo which helps me with my positioning.
