My Dad came to me with an old black and white photo of my Mom that he'd been carrying in his wallet for over 50 years. It was worn, faded, and falling apart. He asked me to restore it, and photoshop it into a pretty scene (background photo is of Lake Jocassee at Devils Fork State Park in South Carolina). Many, many hours of editing (days!) and a major headache later, he gave his approval on the final image :) I really didn't do her justice, and I had to make it more surreal than I wanted to in order to compensate for my lack of ability......... but I gave it my best shot, and I think Dad was pleased :D
