The sky was cover and it was snowing. The light was then perfect, since it was equal, no highlight and no dark shadow.Equipment
For the lense my 28-300 with a nikon d7100 - f/71. at 1/250 and 400 iso.Inspiration
The two Wapiti where there looking at me... So i just had to get out of my car, and let them know that i was no danger to them, i did not move or try to get closer. I hand the time to get a few clicks before they got up and leave. It was a magical moment.Editing

My best advice would be to alway look around you , you never know when a scene like this one will pop out. So you have to be ready and know your gear to be able to take a shot without having to look for your settings...
