I was visiting my brother and his family, and it was an overcast day. This was the view from the living room, looking towards the back yard. When the house was built, my brother and his wife took great care to ensure that the older trees on the property were not lost to the construction process, so the result was mature trees fairly close to the house.This is a black and white image, but the original version could easily pass for a black and white, save for the smallest amounts of color. Sometimes those small amounts can add to a composition, but in this case i felt they were a distraction.
