I was looking up to see if the eagles were in the nest of a tree nearby. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed something. I looked over and was not sure if I was seeing properly as I did not have my glasses on. I brought my camera up to my eye and then saw this young coyote laying in the morning sun, watching my every move. I did not want to move closer in case I scared him away. He eventually took off when a jogger came by with her dog. You never know what creature lurks in the trees within the city limits.
