Location
This photo was taken in rural Wisconsin. I loved the look of abandonment of the property.Time
This picture was taken around a cloudy sunset; and the lowly decrepit barn, stood stoic against the hues of sunset and what once was of a farm.Lighting
My idea with the lighting for this photo was to highlight the beauty in the old, to invoke a feeling of what it may have been like as working farm. To capture the history of the location by shooting it in black and white.Equipment
I used my IPhone 8Plus to capture this image.Inspiration
The inspiration for this photo was a feeling I felt when I saw it. It was a shell of what it once was. The house was gone and little remained except for the caving barn in the background. I imagined children in the yard, and walking down the dry road to what was home.Editing
The only change I made was to shoot the image in black and white, versus having the sunset in the background as it was quite cloudy. In my camera bag
My Sony Mirrorless camera; lenses, filters and lighting equipment. My IPhone11Pro, with lenses.Feedback
Center the object your trying to catch or if you have multiple object in frame, look for good juxtaposition or an interesting angle to capture certain unique but similar qualities.
