I had gone out in my garden one summer morning and picked some dahlias. One of the dahlias broke and it was so beautiful that I couldn't throw it away so I put it in a bowl of water. As it was floating there I got the inspiration for this photo.Time
I remember that it was in the morning as I was having my coffee. I noticed how beautifully the light was shining on to dahlia from my patio window.Lighting
This photo was taken using natural light from the patio window.Equipment
I used my camera phone to take this photo without any set up so it was very sporadic.Inspiration
The beauty of nature and how light can make it shine to enhance that beauty.Editing
Yes, I did some post editing on my phone. I didnt do much except adjust the color a bit.In my camera bag
I have my nikon d7100 with my 35mm and 50mm lenses and my cell phone. I honestly take more photos with my cell phone because I get inspiration sporadically and sometimes I only have that on me.Feedback
You can find beauty in nature all around you. Sometimes an accident, like a flower breaking, can be just as beautiful as a flower in the meadow.
