While hiking in a low area of some rugged terrain, I spied one tree in a grouping that was already green and noticed it's roots growing down into solid rock and coming out of every little crack. Because this was taken between 2 rocky ridges where it was dark, I created an HDR picture from 3 bracketed pictures
