Love this capture. I just read that the color of the bees sacks are determined by the color of flowers they have been visiting. So blue here becuz they are visiting blue flowers.

I never knew that their pollen sacks are determined by the colour of flowers they are visiting (thanks Chuck!). So cool, I have never seen 'blue Pollen Sacks'! Such a beautiful shot, excellent detail and colour achieved Mel!

I like this shot but, my thoughts for a penny...the values of both the foreground flowers and the background greens are the same. Just experiment with changing one or the other...does that make sense? If you have any questions just let me know. Maybe even the background is black & white and the bee is in color? Play with the saturation differences if you know what I mean.
