This photo was taken on Ventura Beach California ...We arrived early in the morning and I wanted to make a day of it with plenty of outfits!Time
This photo was taken around 10:30 am with the ocean behind her and the sun rising it was blasting into my lens ... one of the worst times to take pictures but it worked in my favor... it lit her up beautifully!Lighting
Usually this time of day between 10:30 and 2 ...I prefer not to take pictures because of the sun and because it would always blast my shots ... from this moment forward I have learned to take pictures anytime of day and use it as an advantage instead of an disadvantage as I am a self taught photographer ... my favorite lighting is natural light.Equipment
I use a sony cybershot, sony alpha etc ... I rarely use a tripod I prefer to capture the true essence of the person and it usually is that moment when they forget there is a camera and snap it's magical !Inspiration
I finally found a model that was Beautiful and willing to get up early and make a day out of it, I am always learning and challenging myself and my cameras and the natural lighting around me.Editing
I always like to sharpen the photo if needed ...but I try to take pictures that I never have to manipulate after ... it takes the fun out of it for me.In my camera bag
I always have my 3 go to cameras cause everyone of them gives something the other one doesn't ... also tons of extra batteries and memory cards an umbrella and a tripodFeedback
Take a full day from am to pm and learn all the different lighting from sunrise to sunset with your camera its is amazing what you will learn and what beautiful shots with natural lighting you will capture!!!
