This adolescent crocodile sat hissing amongst the algae at the edge of the river. Our guide told us that, unlike hippos, the crocodile is a respectful creature, that it will swim by and not bother a human because it understands its place in the cycle of life. However, this croc didn't agree, and leapt straight towards the Makoro, which was hastily pushed away by our guide who laughed at his 'ignorance and temper'.
