Behind The Lens

Location

I took the photo in Arnhem, Netherlands while looking outside a window in what seemed like a peaceful evening after some showers. It was during spring heading to summer day.

Time

Around 1800 hours in the evening

Lighting

Well, I did not use flash so I adjusted the ISO to 100, aperture was adjusted to f/5.6 and exposure 1/250.With the help of the focus ring, I managed to take that photo.

Equipment

I used a tripod beside the window to avoid getting a blurry photo since I was shaking out of cold.I did not flash because it was close to the window. At the time, I had no lenses so I use the kit lens that came with the camera.

Inspiration

Since I have an instagram account, I've seen a couple of amazing pictures from different pages that have used water droplets to get fantastic pictures. So I got my inspiration from the photos I saw on Instagram and decided to have one water droplets photo of my own.

Editing

There was a little bit of editing with the contrast and brightness mostly.Contrast was to make the photo more dramatic and adjusted the brightness to balance the contrast and come up with something like that.

In my camera bag

I have a small bag so i'm limited to lens,sd cards and a belt to attach to the camera just incase I'm tired of holding the camera. I didn't use any of the equipment in the bag.

Feedback

I would advice people to use their vision and capture a photo inside the mind first before trying to capture it using a camera..This helps because at some point, you realise that this shot in not enough, let me try to make it the way I want, so this gives you an edge to make it better.
