Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Time

This photo was taken about mid day.

Lighting

There was no flash allowed in the aqarium so I relied a bit on the natural lighting through the water. I used manual settings and went with the lowest aperature I could for that camera.

Equipment

The camera I had at the moment was a canon point and shoot camera.

Inspiration

I was strolling through the aqaruium with my boyfriend. Him and I love jellyfish, and I wanted to capture how they look like a forest all together. They're movement is graceful and beautiful.

Editing

Yes, I worked on the photo through Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

In my camera bag

I normally have a Sony a7sii camera with a 35mm prime lens with a tripod

Feedback

When you cannot use flash in a situation, lower the aperture and iso to get photos in lower lighting.
