Location
This photo was taken at Hill Country Retreet which is a 55+ community. It was during the spring season in San Antonio, TX and when I was asked to shoot some photos of my friend's dog, Max, I thought the Bluebonnets would be the perfect backdrop.Time
I purposely waited until late in the afternoon to take the shot as I didn't want to deal with the sun being directly overhead and washing out the colors.Lighting

Shot with a Cannon 70D and the Lens was a Cannon 18-135mm. No tripod but I shot on burst and was often moving backward while shooting as Max kept walking towards me.Inspiration
Max is 16+ years old, he is blind and can't hear much anymore, if you look at his eyes you can see his cataracts. He is very special to my friend and I wanted to do something special for her for her birthday.Editing
Not much in the way of post-processing just a bit of touch up!!In my camera bag
Don't carry a bag, I have had two back surgeries and a shoulder surgery so I just do the best I can with just the camera and lens I head out with when I go to shoot.Feedback
