This was taken with a canon point and shoot camera that I carry with me to capture a moment when it happens.Inspiration

Some minor light adjustment. In my camera bag
I have my main grab bag which has my Fuji XT10 and 2 kit lenses.16-50 mm and a 50-235 mm. Have two macro extension tubes and a reversing ring. Also carry a polarizing filter and an adjustable nd filter. There is a small dedicated flash which has a better output then the on board flash. I carry 3 spare camera batteries and a wall charger. My flash takes 2 AA batteries and I carry 6 spares. Lastly I have a ziplock bag with lens cleaner, lens cleaning cloths and a soft bristle art brush for dusting thing off.Feedback
To capture any shot it is always about being at the right place at the right time and knowing the area where you are. If your out and about for photo taking always have your camera at the ready to snap the shot or that "Once in a life time moment!" Double check your equipment before you go out the door. Make sure every thing is working and all your batteries are fully charged. If you want to always have a camera with you for that unexpected moment you can use your cell phone, "Quality of shot will suffer". I recommend buying a high quality point and shoot camera with a good sensor. Models with 1 inch sensors are becoming more and more available on the market. Try to get one that is the same make as your primary camera. Chances are you will spend less time fiddling with the dials because the layouts of both cameras will be very similar. Again an extra batter or two is a must along with a charger. Given the small size of the point and shoot cameras, a spare battery takes up little or no room in a pants pocket or fanny pack. When you take your bag to go take pics bring the point and shoot as a backup camera if you don't have a second camera body.
