I don't think i have ever awarded Masterpiece to a portrait, because in addition to the skills of the photographer, a portrait is also dependent on the looks, makeup, and expressive nature of the model. While i have awarded this for Creativity, the composition and technical execution make me feel guilty that i did not award it as "Masterpiece" Wonderful image.
