The famous flying scotsman back in action on its maiden journey after a rebuild

If you look closely you'll see this is a reflection in a lake of a train passing over a viaduct. The photo was rotated through 180 degrees.

Behind The Lens

Location

Digswell Viaduct in Hertfordshire, UK. This structure is stunning and I never take or see any photos that really do it justice. Taking this shot in winter time on a beautiful day gave me great light, but more importantly no leaves on the trees!

Time

Early morning winter sun.

Lighting

Just beautiful natural daylight.

Equipment

Lower end Nikon with a nice prime.

Inspiration

The desire to get a photo that really shows the beauty of this structure

I love the black and white features of Tonality.
