As everybody know, light is everything in photography and that day was a very sunny day, it is why I decided to play with my first tulips of the season, I had to shoot inside my home and sacrifice a bit of ISO because was windy at the outdoor area.Equipment
No tripod, Nikon D810 - Macro Lens 60mm -f/2.8. Settings (ISO 250 - 60mmm - f4/.5 - 1/10) A black poster board 36 in x 48 in and a small flower vaseInspiration
Each Spring, my world totally changes when the sun starts shining, flowers and colour start showing around this gifted city. My love for macro flora is so big that it is hard to describe, gives me life in all the ways. To discover each flower through the macro lens is a totally gift and this flower in particular with its adorable color (my favorite one) talked to me and told me, "get a shot" ;). Colours and textures like the one in this flower are food for my soul and eyes.Editing
I have been finding that macro flowers don't need to be processed most of the time, in some cases is only necessary to adjust some lighting. I lightly processed this photo in Lightroom, where I worked a bit more it was around the dark background. In my camera bag
A Nikon D810 camera with lenses: Nikkor 18-105mm Zoom Nikkor 70-300mm and Micro-Nikkor 60mm, f2/8DFeedback
