Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at Upper Lake at Bhopal in the state of Madhya Pradesh of India.

Time

The image was taken at sunset on a clear day.

Lighting

Nothing specific about the lighting. Only natural light was used.

Equipment

This was taken handheld with a Nikon D5300 and 55-200 mm Nikkor lens. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

The sunset at Upper Lake is always breathtaking and has always inspired the photographers to use sunsets for taking images.

Editing

I do some basic post-process, but, it is always image specific. Difficult to recollect how I post-processed it.

In my camera bag

Nikon-D5300, 18-55mm and 55-200mm Nikkor lens. Recently I have added 200-500 mm Nikkor and a Shanny SN600N Flash. I am yet to get a bag for the latter acquisitions.

Feedback

Be patient and take a lot of images, when you feel you have the best shot. DO explore the technicalities involved and get off the auto mode ASAP.
