I took my daughter, Isla, to a talk about moths today. She was absolutely fascinated and loved holding some of the moths - this one especially.

Location

This photo was taken on Dartmoor. It's just up from Okehampton army camp.

Time

The image was taken at sunset, the light across the moor was amazing.

Lighting

The beautiful sunset and cloud formation made a fantastic backdrop for this silohette.

Equipment

I used my Canon 500.

Inspiration

I wanted to capture my friend's children with my little girl. Unfortunately, my little angel had a paddy and wouldn't get in the photo!

Editing

I didn't actually do much processing to this image. Just simple tweaks, such as dropping the shadows, to enhance the silhouette.

I usually just have my camera with me, nothing special.

Feedback

Use Mother nature. She provides beautiful backdrops and wonderful, natural light.
