Texas color in a longneck beer bottle. "Get a hold a one". I have seen pastures so blue some years here in the South Texas Brush Country that you'd think it was a lake reflecting the sky. Yes it's true. Most everything in this part of the world will either poke you, sting you, bite you, give you some kinda rash and sometimes just flat kill you. You've really gotta pay attention. It gets so freakin miserably humid hot for about 60-75 days you can't even believe it's real. Some years the bugs and Mosquitos are almost unbearable and it can rain so hard that it washs away entire towns. Yep, it is certainly an area with extreme conditions. But let me tell Ya, we've damn sure got our moments. Not to mention the most awesome people (except for certain county sheriffs... Yeah, you know who you are) and the prettiest women you've ever seen (oh they're pretty alright... Just like a rattlesnake or a black widow) And a piece of advice: DO NOT give them their own pistol for "protection". First of all, they don't freakin need it. Second. They will shoot you with it.
