Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Malta at Ghadira nature reserve and hopefully I will go again there because is the best place till now that brings me at peace.

Time

Actually is was the worst time to take pictures it was right at 12 PM and the sun it was right up in the sky but you know how they say, "Be patient and what you want it will come to you when is the right time. "

Lighting

Yes taking in account that the picture was taken at 12 pm I just needed to have patience for the chameleon to make its way in the shade. Even if its the worst time and lighting possible to take pictures just look around and have patience.

Equipment

It was shot with a Canon 7d MK II and a 300 mm f4 lens.

Inspiration

I was just planing to go bird watching in the nature reserve when I saw him I know I had to sit with him for 10 minutes to have a bit of " quality time " together.

Editing

I never process my photos for me is what you see is what I saw.

In my camera bag

The best for me " for now " Canon 7d MK II with 300 mm f4 and 2 teleconverters 1.4 and 2.x and a tripod Manfrotto 055XPROB with Manfrotto 393 head.

Feedback

Malta has the most beautiful wildlife and is popular for its variety but the only advice that i can give you is to be there in the first place and take your time for everything that you have planed.
