Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at my home in South Wales. My boy Eddie B, loves his hat and wears it almost everywhere.

Time

Taken just after lunch, just playing around at home and managed to capture this great image.

Lighting

All natural light here, no studio, no lighting, no flash.

Equipment

This was taken with my Nikon D3200 and the kit lens.

Inspiration

Eddie B is the main reason I first picked up a camera. I love taking pictures of him and the various things he gets up to.

Editing

There was a little bit of post-processing done in Photoshop, darkening and converting to black and white.

In my camera bag

The only items I have in my bag at this point is my Nikon D3200, a Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 and a Sigma 70-200mm 2.8

Feedback

Photographing children can be tricky. I never try to "pose" children, I always capture the real moments as and when they happen. Just keep shooting and I'm sure you'll capture some great images.
