Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was shot at Camp 30 in Bowmanville.

Time

This was an amazing adventure I went on with my boyfriend and our friend. We got there just before sundown on a nice cloudy day.

Lighting

I wanted this photo to be eerie to show the decay of the old building.

Equipment

This photo was shot with a Nikon D5100, with the original kit lens.

Inspiration

The stories I've heard surrounding Camp 30 have always been really creepy, involving ghost sightings, noises, etc. I wanted to show that although this place is creepy, it's still beautiful.

Editing

No post-processing took place!

In my camera bag

I usually carry my Nikon with the kit lens, 18-200 mm lens, Polaroid and extra Polaroids.

Feedback

I'd advise going on a cloudy overcast day. This was during Halloween and we were kicked out after this photo. Be very careful as old abandon buildings are very dangerous.
