Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Montreal Botanical Gardens.

Time

This was taken early afternoon in February

Lighting

I always try to shoot with backlight if the sun is strong. I always try not to shoot in flat light or front light.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon EOS 6D. 200mm at F/2.8 Shutter 1/250th

Inspiration

I love going in February to see the “Butterflies go free “ exhibition at the Botanical Gardens in Montreal, Quebec Canada

Editing

Since I shoot in Raw, there is a little post processing done.

In my camera bag

In my bag I often have my wide 16-35mm lense ,my 100mm Macro,The 70-200mm. I have a 10 stop and 6 stop ND filter for long exposures. I always have my Gitzo tripod and remote.

Feedback

Patience and waiting for the right light and moment.
