This photo was taken in my garage which I converted into a start up studio. ( actually its partly garage, partly studio)Time
a friend came over for a glass of wine after work, while we were chatting and drinking wine, out she pulled her electronic cigarette, after the second time she blew the smoke out, i could not contain myself. We went down to the studio and start playing around.Lighting
Usually I prefer natural lightning, but as it was 20:30 at night, I had to try and "mimmic" a natural light source, so I used continuous lightning from the soft boxes , on what setting, I can't rememberEquipment
I used my Nikon D90 ( as it was the best I had in my possession at that time) My prime 50mm lens F/2.2 for the shallow DOF ISO 200 Shutter 1/60 Elinchrom soft box from aboveInspiration
I love photos that has personality and tell stories without words. In the small town I live in, I'm always the weird one and that inspires me almost te most. I like to "shock" conservative people with my work. Its a love hate relationship.Editing
I did do some post-processing on the photo, in Adobe Lightroom not much though. I shot the image in RAW format in color. For the look I was going for, I wanted it in Black and White. I deepen the shadows a bit and also aded a bit of contrast.In my camera bag
