Recently, I went to go visit the zoo in the hopes of shooting some decent animal portraits. As fate would have it, nearly all the animals were either indoors or too far away to get a decent picture. As I was walking to the alligator enclosure, I saw this beautiful flower standing basically alone in what was an ill-cared for flower bed. Luckily for me, it was a cloudy day, and the lighting was perfect for an even BW shot of this flower.
