Behind The Lens

Location

My photo was taken on the Winter Route of the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. This is called Cascade Canyon and is the lunch stop. After lunch the train returns to Durango. While in the Canyon the have a large covered Pavillion with a wood fire in the middle. It can be very cold down in the canyon. Cascade Canyon is th half way point between Durango and Silverton.

Time

it was taken about 2:55 on Mar h 12,2017

Lighting

it a beautiful sunny day in March. It had snowed th night before. The farther north we went the more snow there was.

Equipment

Kodak Z1285 Digital Zoom Aperature: 47/10 Exposure:1/500 F Stop: 5. ISO: 64

Inspiration

I have loved training s for a very long time. My dad was Flagman and Brakeman on the B&O; C&O, Chelsie System. Which all end up either g the same Railroad in the end.

Editing

I do but now thT I don't have access to my desktop I just use Apps on my cell phone. Not as good as my other computer.

In my camera bag

I use several cameras but T this time I only had a this KodK z1285. One of the best point and shoot cameras I have ever owned.

Feedback

My advice is you just have to look at the photo well before you take it. Then just go for it. Some are good and some not so good. This is just one of the lucky ones.
