Location
In my sister's and my bedroom. I was bored and my sister and I were sitting there and I asked her if she would be ok with me taking some photos of her. She agreed it might be fun.Time
It was noonish but the positioning of the sun didn't really matter because of the fact of us being indoors.Lighting
For the lighting, I set up a warm lighted lamp and angled it towards her face. I then had her look towards it.Equipment
The equipment I used to take this particular photo was a Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS, a 16gb memory card, and a tripod.Inspiration
What inspired me to take this photo was all the studio portraits with nice lights and black backgrounds I see. I always wanted to recreate something that in some way.Editing
For the post processing made it black and white, removed the background, and added more contrasting. In my camera bag
In my bag, I have a Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS (the only camera I own), an extra 16-gigabyte memory card, an extra battery, my tripod,my lens cleaner, and cloth.Feedback
Make sure to have one SINGLE source of light that way the subjects face will seem to emerge from the darkness.
