This photo was taken on Jekyll Island at Driftwood Beach. The beautiful old driftwood trees are all along the eastern beachfront.Time
This was at sunrise, my favorite time of the day. Anytime we go anywhere, I am always trying to find great sunrise spots. We were up very early, drove down to the area and walked through a little forest onto the beach area.Lighting
Using only the natural lighting from the sun, in a simple, cloudless sky, this was perfect for the shadow of the tree on the beach.Equipment
I uses a Canon Rebel, with am 18-400mm lens on a tripod, no flash.Inspiration
Inspiration would have to be the beauty of the place. I LOVE a sunrise sky, always.Editing
Honestly, there was very little done, just a tad of sharpening and a tiny bit of saturation.In my camera bag
I have just my Canon EOS 80D and my Tamron 18-400mm lens. Extra batteries, SD cards.Feedback
For sunrise photos, you MUST be willing to get up before light and be in your spot at least 30-45 minutes before sunrise.
