Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in a ghost village in south of Italy. It was the unic house with an inhabitant living in.

Time

It was an afternoon of a grey close day

Lighting

Light was diffused in the scene because the closes in the sky, so every part of the scene was illuminated in a good way.

Equipment

I used my old bridge Sony DSC R1 with a polarizing filter.

Inspiration

The steange color of the door inspired me and the cats position in fronte of It. They saw me Luke i was an intruder in that moment, so i had the sensation that they were twoo guardians, like the Lions in Salomon Temple to protect the "Arch of Alliance".

Editing

I used Lightroom to a light Mask of luminosity for a light Shadow effect in the corners of the Image.

In my camera bag

I usually have a bridge withl only one principal lens, with a long range of focal exposure, and a polarizing circular filter and a dark filter too.

Feedback

You must observe what is really singular in a place and not only what is simply beautiful at a first view. Like you are for searching a lost treasure.
