I love Dartmoor at night with it's peace, darkness and remoteness. One of my night trips brought me to this stone circle inside Fernworthy Forest on Dartmoor. The Milkyway was arching across the sky so I composed the imagine centrally for effect. This is a Bronze Age stone circle, which actually outdates the forest, with some old pictures from 1907 showing the stone circle in open moorland.
