Location
This image was taken just inside the entrance to Tunnel Creek in the Kimberly region of the Northern Territory Australia. Tunnel creek is the result of a small creek eating its way over time through an ancient limestone reef that now sits on the surface in the middle of nowhere about 200klms from Derby along the Gibb River Road.Time
We were on a picnic at the time so the image was taken after lunch around 2.00pm.Lighting
Pure ass. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time for this one.Equipment
Not wanting to risk my Sony A65 on the 400 metre walk through the flowing river bed, inside a pitch black environment where your only light is the torch in your hand, I used my Sony HX200 for this one. Left it on Full auto and just got lucky.Inspiration
Being in the right place at the right time. The two German tourists just happened to leave for the entrance ahead of me and stopped to take a photo themselves.Editing
Very little. Still learning. In my camera bag
Sony A65 with a Sigma 18-150 general purpose and a Sigma 10-20 wide angle for landscapes.Feedback
On a sunny day, find an irregular shaped cave with some still water, not so deep that you might drown and a couple of tourists as subject matter and go for it.
